0 is a film rating given by the FSK meaning all ages are admitted, but according to JuSchG, there are limits for persons under 18 for unaccompanied cinema times. Children under 6 may not be left accompanied in a cinema regardless of the performance end time (also can only be viewing 0-rated films), children aged 6 years or older but younger than 14 may not stay at a cinema after 8pm (children younger than 12 in this age range must be accompanied by an adult for 12-rated films), adolescents aged 14 or 15 years may not stay at a cinema after 10pm or watch a 16-rated film by the FSK, and adolescents aged 16 or 17 years neither stay at a cinema after midnight nor view or purchase 18-rated films or video games (regardless if rated by Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Filmwirtschaft or Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle) regardless of in cinema or not. Those same restrictions apply to other age ratings imposed by Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Filmwirtschaft.
