16 is a video game rating given by the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle meaning that a video game is only suitable for 16 years and older, and anyone below this age cannot purchase it. Its corresponding color is blue with black text, but formerly from 1994 to 2003 its corresponding color is yellow with black text and from 2003 to 2009 its corresponding color is blue with white text. It was formerly known as "Geeignet 16 Jahren" from 1994 to 2003.
