18 Accompaniment (18A) is one of the six rating categories of the Canadian Home Video Rating System. It means that the film is suitable for persons 18 and over. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In the Maritimes and Manitoba, persons must be at least 14 years old to be admitted to an 18A rated film. No one younger than 18 can rent or purchase an 18A rated film.
