The Classification Board and Classification Review Board are government-funded organizations which classify all films that are released for public exhibition. The Exempt classification can be used to rate special programs, given that they do not exceed the constraints of the PG classification.
Unrestricted
E Exempt from classification. Films that are exempt from classification must not contain contentious material (i.e. material that would ordinarily be rated M or higher).
G General. There are no age restrictions. The content is very mild in impact.
Advisory
PG Parental guidance recommended. There are no age restrictions. The content is mild in impact.
M Recommended for mature audiences. There are no age restrictions. The content is moderate in impact. This is also the highest unrestricted rating.
Restricted
