Bad language is a content descriptor used in PEGI 12, 16 and 18. It signifies that there is bad language within the game (swearing, racial slurs, etc.) It is the second most commonly used descriptor by PEGI with 539 titles (31.0%) using the descriptor among games rated in 2023 (only Violence is used more often).
