Catholic News Service (CNS) is an American news agency that reports on the Roman Catholic Church, established in 1920.

Rating system[]

  • A-I - General Patronage. This does not mean a kids film, but does not have any content that would be unsuitable for kids. Equivalent to G and/or PG.
  • A-II - Adults and Adolescents. This means that the film is suitable for teens over the age of 13. Equivalent to PG-13.
  • A-III - Adults. This means that the film is suitable for adults, but not for teens. Equivalent to R.
  • L - Limited adult audience. This means that the film is unsuitable for a casual adult moviegoer. Equivalent to soft NC-17.
  • O - Morally offensive. This means that the film is morally offensive. Equivalent to hard NC-17.
