The Ethics Organization of Computer Software (一般社団法人コンピュータソフトウェア倫理機構, Ippan Shadan Hōjin Konpyūta Sofutowea Rinri Kikō), also known for short as EOCS or Sofurin, is an organization that rates PC games released in Japan.
EOCS was established on November 20, 1992, and would later be incorporated in 2009. Besides classifying video games' suitability for certain audiences, EOCS also acts against the piracy of PC games for the companies it represents, and sponsors the Moe Game Award (萌えゲーアワード, Moe gēawādo) to help boost the sale of PC games.
Console video games use the CERO rating system, which slightly differs in guidelines to the EOCS rating system.
