Rating System Wiki

On November 18, 2024, Roblox launched content maturity labels, which replaced the Experience Guidelines system. In 2025, the Age rating system are back. Sometimes, some minimal, mild and moderate might have age rating vary.

  • Minimal: May contain occasional mild violence, light unrealistic blood, and/or occasional mild fear.
  • Mild: May contain repeated mild violence, heavy unrealistic blood, mild crude humor, and/or repeated mild fear.
  • Moderate: May contain moderate violence, light realistic blood, moderate crude humor, unplayable gambling content, and/or moderate fear. Similar to Restricted (Ages 17+) but only for Email, These experiences needs Parental Consent (known as Email verification with ID Verify by uploading a selfie and a photo of their government-issued ID), but the rule doesn't apply to accounts that are over 13, even making new accounts setting fake birthdate to be over 13 for the first time.
  • Restricted: May contain strong violence, heavy realistic blood, moderate crude humor, romantic themes, unplayable gambling content, the presence of alcohol, strong language, and/or moderate fear. These experiences are only available to 18+ users who verified their ages by completing ID verification.

On September 30, 2025, unrated experiences became unplayable for everyone. Active creators must complete a questionnaire to keep their experiences playable.
