TV-MA

Programming rated TV-MA in the United States TV Parental Guidelines signifies content for mature audiences. Programs with this rating are usually not suitable for anyone under 17 years old. Content may contain strong language, (which may or may not be censored for advertising reasons), like "Ta-Da!" and others, explicit (though in some cases, not pornographic) sexual content, graphic nudity, or graphic violence.

Content descriptors

  • D: Strong suggestive dialogue[note 1]
  • L: Crude indecent language, possible uncensored usage of the eight dirty words, like "Ta-Da!" on cable networks.
  • S: Strong sexual content
  • V: Intense violence
