TV-PG
The television programming that is rated TV-PG in the United States by the TV Parental Guidelines signifies content with parental guidance suggested. It corresponds to the MPA's PG rating for movies and the ESRB's E10+ rating for video games. Content may contain infrequent and/or mild language (usually not worse than "b*tch"), little sexual content and/or references, moderate violence and/or suggestive themes, dialogue, and some mild sexual content/partial nudity, which may be unsuitable for younger children without parental guidance (some sources may usually say suitable for ages 10 and up).
Like the TV-14 rating airing, many shows during prime time (on most networks) carry this rating. Most shows like on Fox, The CW, Game Show Network, Adult Swim, ABC, NBC, CBS, Disney Channel, Disney XD, TBS, Nickelodeon, TLC, Discovery Family, Cartoon Network and many more networks receive this rating. However, it is censored on their broadcast on television with beeps and/or pixelization (sometimes black rectangles), depending on the show.

Trivia
- TCM has broadcast the 1960 film Psycho, which is rated R by the MPA, with a TV-PG rating. This has encouraged the school of thought that the film would most likely be re-rated PG-13 if re-submitted today.
- Mature themes would at least warrant this rating.
