Changes: Taiwan content rating system

In Taiwan, movie, video game and television program classification is decided by the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (Chinese: 文化部影視及流行音樂產業局; pinyin: Wénhuàbù Yǐngshìjí Liúxíng Yīnyuè Chǎnyèjú).

Ratings

0+ (普遍級): general audiences, suitable for all ages. Equivalent to G and soft PG (movies), TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G and some softer TV-PG content for television and EC, E, and soft E10+ (video games). Formerly 普.
6+ (保護級): only for 6 years and above, accompaniment is required for persons aged 11 and below. Introduced in 1993. Equivalent to hard PG (movies), TV-Y7 and TV-PG (TV) and E10+ (video games). Formerly 護.
12+ (輔12級): only for 12 years and above. Equivalent to PG-13 (movies), hard PG or soft 14 (TV) and T (video games). Formerly 輔 (as in 輔導級).
15+ (輔15級): only for 15 years and above. Introduced in 2015. Equivalent to R (movies), hard 14 or soft MA (TV) and M (video games). Split from the former 輔.
18+ (限制級): only for 18 years and above. Equivalent to NC-17 (movies), hard MA (TV) and AO (video games). Formerly 限.
